Yes. In most cases, when you contact us early enough on a weekday, a classic engagement ring can be created in our Paris atelier and completed that same afternoon.
This can go beyond choosing a finished ring from stock. A natural diamond or coloured gemstone is selected for you, then the ring is created around its exact dimensions, set and finished by hand before the atelier closes.
Every request depends on the stone, the design and the hours available. Call us in the morning and we will tell you immediately what can be completed that day.

Tell us when you intend to propose, the style and metal you have in mind, your budget and the stone you would like. Include your partner’s ring size if you know it. If you are unsure, do not let that delay your call. The ring can be resized after the proposal.

SELECT THE STONE
Alexia, our gemmologist, checks the loose natural diamonds and gemstones available in Paris that day.
She makes a selection according to your criteria and presents the strongest possibilities. You may see the stones at the atelier or make your choice remotely if you cannot come in person.
Urgency does not mean accepting the first available diamond. Each stone is still examined individually for its proportions, presence and beauty beyond the certificate.
THE ATELIER CREATES THE RING
Once the stone is chosen, the atelier begins work immediately.
The setting is crafted around the exact proportions of the stone before it is set and the ring receives its final finish. A classic solitaire in 18-carat yellow or white gold can often be completed within a few hours.
If we can find the stone, we can make the ring.
THE DIAMOND CONCIERGE PLACES IT IN YOUR HANDS
You may collect the finished ring directly from the atelier.
If the proposal must remain entirely secret, the Diamond Concierge can arrange a discreet handover at your hotel or another agreed address in Paris. The ring reaches you without appearing at the wrong moment or being seen by the person who is about to receive it.

The earlier you call, the wider the possibilities. Our atelier closes at 6pm, and each hour before then is time the artisans can devote to your ring.
Same-day ring creation is available from Monday to Friday and remains subject to the availability of the stone and the atelier. If you intend to propose on Saturday or Sunday, contact us before Friday so that your ring can be prepared in advance.

CAN YOU MAKE A TWO-CARAT DIAMOND RING IN YELLOW GOLD THE SAME DAY?
In many cases, yes. A classic 18-carat yellow gold solitaire can often be created within the day if a suitable two-carat natural diamond is available in Paris. The selection will depend on the shape, colour, clarity and budget requested.
IS IT A READY-MADE RING?
No. Same-day creation is not limited to selecting a finished ring from a display. The stone is chosen individually, then the setting is created around it, set and finished by hand in our Paris atelier.
A selection of Ready-to-Wear engagement rings is also available when an already completed ring is the most appropriate solution.
WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
Tell us when you intend to propose, the style and metal you prefer, your approximate budget and the diamond or gemstone you have in mind. Include the ring size if you know it.
WHAT IF I DO NOT KNOW THE CORRECT RING SIZE?
Do not let an uncertain ring size delay the proposal. Tell us what you know and we will guide you towards the most appropriate size. If an adjustment is needed afterwards, the ring can be resized in our atelier on the next business day.
CAN THE RING BE RESIZED?
Of course. If the size needs adjusting after the proposal, bring the ring to our atelier on the next business day. In most cases, resizing takes around an hour. You can have a coffee nearby and return to collect a perfectly fitted ring.
DO I HAVE TO COME TO THE ATELIER?
No. You are welcome to visit the atelier and see the stones in person, but the selection and approval can also be handled remotely. The completed ring may then be collected or delivered discreetly in Paris.
CAN THE DIAMOND CONCIERGE HELP WITH A SAME-DAY PROPOSAL?
The Diamond Concierge can arrange the discreet handover of your finished ring at your hotel or another agreed address in Paris.
