How do you select the diamonds for your engagement rings?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Every diamond is chosen in person in Antwerp — the centre of the natural diamond trade.
Rather than working from a catalogue or a screen, we examine each stone individually before it becomes part of a ring. The qualities that matter most — how a diamond moves in light, its presence, its character — do not appear on a certificate.
This takes more time. It also changes everything about the result.<\/p>\n\n\n

What diamond grade do you recommend for an engagement ring?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

For most clients, F VS1 is where quality and value genuinely meet.
Above this threshold, the differences become invisible to the eye but remain very visible in the price. The budget saved is better placed in the cut, the overall size or the design itself.
That said, the right stone is always the one that feels right for the person wearing it.<\/p>\n\n\n

Can I choose a coloured gemstone instead of a diamond?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Yes, and it is more common than most people expect.
Sapphires, rubies, Colombian emeralds, rare garnets and fine tourmalines can all form the centre of an engagement ring. Each one is unique, deeply personal and available across a wide range of budgets.
We source coloured gemstones with the same care as diamonds — in person, chosen individually.
The most beautiful ring I have ever made was not a diamond.<\/p>\n\n\n

Do you work with natural diamonds or lab-grown diamonds?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Say Yes in Paris works exclusively with natural diamonds and coloured gemstones — stones with genuine provenance and individual character.
Each stone is selected in person. We do not work from catalogues or standardised stock.<\/p>\n\n\n

Do your diamonds come with a GIA certificate?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Yes. Every diamond is certified by the GIA — the world’s most respected grading laboratory.
A GIA certificate documents cut, colour, clarity and carat weight. What it cannot tell you is how a diamond actually looks in natural light.
We walk every client through their certificate so the grades make sense in practice, not just on paper. All diamonds 0.30ct and above are GIA certified.<\/p>\n\n\n

Are your diamonds ethically sourced?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Yes. All diamonds are sourced through established, accredited dealers who adhere to the Kimberley Process. We work exclusively with suppliers whose practices we know and trust.<\/p>\n\n\n

How long does it take to create a Made to Measure engagement ring?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Made to Measure engagement rings are completed within approximately five to six weeks from the confirmation of the stone selection and design. Think of it as demi-couture — a refined design shaped entirely around your diamond and the person who will wear it.
For clients who need a ring sooner, a curated selection of ready-to-wear rings — handcrafted in our atelier — is available for immediate collection.<\/p>\n\n\n

How long does a Bespoke engagement ring take?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

A Bespoke engagement ring is created from the beginning — a wholly original design, conceived around a stone chosen specifically for one person. Like couture, it takes the time it requires.
From the first sketch to the finished ring, the process takes between eight and twelve weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. We will confirm the timeline at the start of your commission.
A 30% deposit<\/strong> is required to begin, with the balance due on completion.<\/p>\n\n\n

Is your jewellery made to order?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Yes. Every ring at Say Yes in Paris is made to order in our Parisian atelier — Made to Measure or fully Bespoke. Ready-to-wear pieces, handcrafted with the same savoir-faire, are available for clients who need a shorter timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n

Can a ring be resized after purchase?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

It depends on the metal and the design. Gold rings can generally be resized with minimal trace. Platinum, however, is a different matter — resizing platinum often leaves a visible mark, and in some cases is not possible without compromising the integrity of the ring.
If you are commissioning a platinum ring, we strongly recommend coming into the atelier so we can take your partner’s ring size together. Getting it right from the start is always the better option — and we know how to do it discreetly.<\/p>\n\n\n

All Say Yes in Paris jewellery comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing faults. Proof of purchase is required.
Please note, manufacturing faults do not include damage or wear and tear, broken chain, cracked or broken stones, or bending of rings.<\/p>\n\n\n
